• Pursuing a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Proficiency in modeling and data analysis tools (e.g. MATLAB, Python, etc.)
• Programming skills to develop or adapt software/firmware for characterization purposes.
• Experience in model-based design with advanced math skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication, written and verbal, skill in Japanese (or English if preferred).
• Must hold relevant work permit in Japan for the duration of the internship.

Must be currently enrolled in a degree program of a relevant major.

• Devise, model, design, implement, and characterize pixels and optical detectors for specific applications.
• Participate in development and validation of sensor specifications to engage with internal and external partners.
• Participate in development and implementation of new characterization methods and equipment.
• Documenting and presenting your results to both internal and external engineering teams.

Ideal candidates would be familiar with image sensor technology, image sensor performance metrics, image sensor usage, and integration into camera systems.
